Obedience is a theme found in the very beginning of God\u2019s word and continues throughout (Isa 59:1-2)<br \/>\n2. The way we can regain that relationship is by doing or obeying what God\u2019s requires (Mathew 7:21, Hebrew 5:8-9)<\/p>\n<p>Defining Obedience<br \/>\n1. Obedience is not only act upon the commands but including with the right attitude (Isa 1:11-14)<br \/>\n2. Obedience is a submission of our will to the will of God (Luke 2:49, Luke 22:42)<br \/>\n3. Obedience to God is required when we not understand fully why that command has been given<\/p>\n<p>Saul\u2019s Disobedience<br \/>\n1. King Saul is a clear example of how God feels concerning the commandments he games (1 Samuel 15)<br \/>\n2. Before this event, Saul had already made an unlawful sacrifice (1 Samuel 13:8-14)<br \/>\n3. So it is not all that surprising in chapter 15, king Saul disobey God\u2019s command (1 Samuel 15:3-14, 1 Samuel 15:22-23)<\/p>\n<p>How important is obedience? It is so importance in the sight of God! Observe some example from the Bible<br \/>\n1. Cain and Abel brought sacrifices to God. God accepted Abel\u2019s sacrifice, but rejected Cain\u2019s sacrifice<br \/>\n2. Noah Obeyed God (Gen 6:14-19, Gen 6:22, Gen 7:5)<br \/>\n3. Naaman Obeyed God (2 Kings 5:1-14)<br \/>\n4. Joshua obeyed God (Joshua 6:2-6)<\/p>\n<p>Obedience and sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22-23)<br \/>\n1. Is God saying that obedience is important and that sacrifice is not? Not at all<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of Obedience. Obedience involve every activities of life<br \/>\n1. Remember that God is fitting and preparing his people for an eternal habitation with him<br \/>\n2. Every commandments for our own good<\/p>\n<p>What constitutes acceptable obedience<br \/>\n1. None but the obedient will be saved (2 Thes 1:7-9)<br \/>\n2. Obedience is more than the outward act (Matt 6:1-18)<br \/>\n3. God requires obedience and acts with the right attitude (John 4:24)<br \/>\n4. Sincerity can not take the place obedience<\/p>\n<p>Conclusion:<br \/>\n1. Obedience to God is the most importance for the happiness and well being of life<br \/>\n2. Obedience guarantee peace and order in the society<br \/>\n3.
