ข้อพระธรรม มัทธิว ๕:๗-๑๒ Matthew 5:7-12
โครงเรื่อง: บุคคล ๕ ชนิดที่เป็นสุข
5 Groups of people who are blessed:

1)ผู้มีใจกรุณาเป็นสุข เพราะเขาจะได้รับพระกรุณาตอบ (๗)
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. (7)

2)ผู้มีใจบริสุทธิ์เป็นสุข เพราะเขาจะได้เห็นพระเจ้า (๘)
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (8)

3)ผู้สร้างสันติก็เป็นสุข เพราะพระเจ้าทรงเรียกเขาว่าเป็นบุตร (๙)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (9)

4)ผู้ถูกข่มเหงเพราะความชอบธรรมเป็นสุข เพราะว่าแผ่นดินสวรรค์เป็นของเขา (๑๐)
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (10)

5)ผู้ถูกติเตียนข่มเหงนินทาว่าร้ายเป็นความเท็จเพราะพระเยซูเป็นสุข จงชื่นชมยินดีเพราะ
บำเหน็จของท่านมีบริบูรณ์ในสวรรค์ เพราะเขาได้ข่มเหงผู้เผยพระวจนะก่อนท่าน (๑๑-๑๒)
Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you. (11-12)
