Hannah did 5 things in order to be a mother:

1)เธอทุกข์ร้อนใจเป็นอันมากเป็นเวลานาน (๑๐)
In her deep anguish. (10)

2)เธอร้องไห้คร่ำครวญถึงชีวิตของเธอตลอดมา (๑๐)
Hannah wept bitterly. (10)

3)เธออธิษฐานทูลขอต่อพระเจ้าด้วยสุดใจ (๑๐)
Hannah prayed to the LORD. (10)

4)เธอบนบานต่อพระเจ้าจะให้ลูกเป็นนาศีร์ (๑๑)
She made a vow to God that no razor will ever be used on his head. (11)

5)เธอสัญญาที่จะมอบถวายชีวิตของลูกให้รับใช้พระเจ้าตลอดชีวิต (๑๑)
And saying, “LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life. (11)
