ข้อพระธรรม: ๑ทิโมธี ๖:๗-๑๐ 1 Timothy 6:7-10
โครงเรื่อง: คำเตือน ๖ ประการเกี่ยวกับความโลภ
The 5 warnings about greediness:

1)เราไม่ได้เอาอะไรเข้ามาในโลก และเอาอะไรออกไปไม่ได้ (๗)
For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it. (7)

2)ให้เราพอใจด้วยอาหารและเสื้อผ้าที่พระเจ้าประทานให้ (๘)
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. (8)

3)คนที่อยากร่ำรวยก็ตกอยู่ในอำนาจของความเย้ายวน (๙)
But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. (9)

4)ความรักเงินทองเป็นมูลรากของความชั่วทั้งมวล (๑๐)
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. (10)

5.ความโลภทำให้บางคงห่างไกลจากความเชื่อ (๑๐)
And in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith. (10)

6.ความโลภทำให้บางคนตรอมตรมด้วยความทุกข์ (๑๐)
In their eagerness to be rich… and pierced themselves with many pains. (10)
