1) ตัวอย่างคำอธิษฐานที่ไม่ดี Example of bad prayer:

1.1 ข้าพระองค์ไม่เหมือนคนอื่นที่ผิดบาป (11) I am different from other sinners. (11)

1.2 สัปดาห์หนึ่ง ข้าพระองค์อดอาหาร 2 ครั้ง (12) I fast 2 times a week. (12)

1.3 ข้าพระองค์ถวายสิบลดหนึ่ง (12) I give tithes. (12)

2) ตัวอย่างคำอธิษฐานที่ดี Example of Good Prayer

2.1 ยืนแต่ไกล ไม่ดูฟ้า แต่ตีอกตนเอง (13) Stand far away, do not look up to the sky but keep beating his own chest. (13)

2.2 ร้องขอความเมตตาจากพระเจ้า (13) Begging for God’s mercy. (13)

2.3 ยอมรับว่าเป็นคนบาป (13) Accepting that he is a sinner. (13)
