ข้อพระธรรมScripture: อพยพ ๒๑:๑-๑๑ Exodus 21:1-11

โครงเรื่อง: หลักการ ๖ ข้อในเรื่องการล้มละลาย
The 6 guidelines to deal with bankruptcy in Old Testament:

1)ชายโสดจะต้องทำงาน(เหมือนทาส)ชดใช้หนี้ ๖ ปี (๑-๒)
Single man works for 6 years to pay off his debt. (1-2)

2)ชายมีครอบครัวทั้งครอบครัวจะต้องทำงานชดใช้หนี้ ๖ ปี (๓)
Man with whole family will work 6 years to pay off their debt. (3)

3)ชายโสดได้ภรรยาจากเจ้าหนี้ หลัง๖ปีได้อิสรภาพแต่ครอบครัวไม่ได้อิสรภาพ (๔-๖)
Single man gets wife from creditor while paying off debt, only he will go free. (4-6)

4)หญิงโสดอาจถูกพ่อมอบให้เจ้าหนี้เป็นภรรยาหรือลูกสะใภ้เพื่อชดใช้หนี้ (๗-๙)
Father could gave daughter to be creditor’s wife to pay off debt. (7-9)

5)ถ้าเจ้าหนี้หย่าภรรยาทีได้จากหนี้จะต้องเลี้ยงดูหญิงนั้นตลอดชีวิต (๑๐-๑๑)
If creditor divorces wife received from debt, he still has to provide for her need. (10-11)
