6 Teachings about being the light of the world:

1)ท่านเป็นความสว่างของโลก (๑๔)
You are the light of the world. (14)

2)นครที่อยู่บนภูเขาจะปิดบังไม่ได้ (๑๔)
A city set on a hill cannot be hid. (14)

3)ไม่มีใครเอาถังครอบตะเกียงไว้ (๑๕)
Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel. (15)

4)ตะเกียงย่อมตั้งไว้บนเชิงตะเกียง (๑๕)
But on a stand. (15)

5)ตะเกียงจะต้องส่องสว่างแก่ทุกคนในเรือน (๑๕)
And it gives light to all in the house. (15)

6)เขาจะสรรเสริญพระบิดาของท่านเพราะเห็นความดีที่ท่านทำ (๑๖)
They may see your good works and give glory to your Father. (16)
