กล่าวนำ Introduction:

ความจริง 6 ประการเรื่องการทำผิดและการยกโทษ The 6 Truths on Sin and Forgiveness:

1) จำเป็นต้องมีเหตุให้หลงผิด (1) Occasions for sin are bound to come. (1)

2) วิบัติแก่ผู้ที่ก่อเหตุให้เกิดการหลงผิด (1) But woe to anyone through whom they come! (1)

3) ให้เอาหินโมแป้งผูกคอผู้ก่อเหตุถ่วงทะเล (2) It would be better for you if a millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown into the sea than for you to cause one of these little ones to sin. (2)

4) ถ้าที่น้องทำผิดต่อท่านจงเตือนเขา (3) Be on your guard! If a brother or sister sins, you must rebuke the offender. (3)

5) ถ้าเขากลับใจแล้ว จงยกโทษให้เขา (3) And if there is repentance, you must forgive. (3)

6) แม้เขาผิดต่อท่านวันละ 7 ครั้งถ้ากลับใจทุกครั้งก็ยกโทษทุกครั้ง (4) And if the same person sins against you seven times a day and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive. (4)
