The 6 teachings on Shining Your Light

1) ไม่มีใครจุดตะเกียงแล้วเอาภาชนะครอบไว้ (16)

No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar. (16)

2) หรือวางไว้ใต้เตียง (16) Or puts it under a bed. (16)

3) มีแต่จะตั้งไว้ที่เชิงตะเกียง (16) Rather, one puts it on a lamp stand. (16)

4) เพื่อให้คนที่เข้ามาได้เห็นแสงสว่างนั้น (16) So that those who enter may see the light.(16)

5) เพราะว่าไม่มีอะไรที่ซ่อนไว้แล้วจะไม่ปรากฏให้เห็น และไม่มีอะไรที่ปิดบังแล้วจะไม่ถูกล่วงรู้หรือเผยให้ประจักษ์(17) For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light. (17)

6) เพราะฉะนั้น จงเอาใจจดจ่อต่อสิ่งที่พวกท่านได้ยินได้ฟัง คนที่มีอยู่แล้ว จะทรงเพิ่มเติมให้แก่คนนั้น แต่คนที่ไม่มี แม้แต่สิ่งที่เขาคิดว่ามีอยู่นั้น ก็จะทรงเอาไปจากเขา (18)

So pay attention to how you listen, for to those who have, more will be given, and from those who do not have, even what they seem to have will be

taken away. (18)
