Hearing and Doing the Word in 6 situations:
- พี่น้องที่รักของข้าพเจ้า จงเข้าใจในเรื่องนี้ คือให้ทุกคนไวในการฟัง (๑๙)
You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen. (19)
- ช้าในการพูด (๑๙)
Slow to speak. (19)
- ช้าในการโกรธ (๑๙)
Slow to anger. (19)
- เพราะว่าความโกรธของมนุษย์ไม่ก่อให้เกิดความชอบธรรมของพระเจ้า (๒๐)
For your anger does not produce God’s righteousness. (20)
- เพราะฉะนั้นจงขจัดความโสมมทุกอย่างและความชั่วที่มีอยู่ดาษดื่น (๒๑)
Therefore rid yourselves of all sordidness and rank growth of wickedness. (21)
- และด้วยใจที่สุภาพอ่อนโยนจงน้อมใจรับพระวจนะที่ทรงปลูกฝังไว้แล้วนั้น ซึ่งสามารถช่วยจิตวิญญาณของพวกท่านให้รอดได้ (๒๑)
And welcome with meekness the implanted word that has the power to save your souls.(21)
