ข้อพระธรรม: มัทธิว ๑๕:๒๑-๒๘ Matthew 15:21-28

We learn 5 lessons from a Canaanite Mother:

1)ขอทรงพระเมตตาข้าพระองค์เถิด ลูกสาวของข้าพระองค์มีผีสิงอยู่ เป็นทุกข์ลำบากอย่างยิ่ง”
พระองค์ไม่ทรงตอบนางสักคำเดียว(๒๒-๒๓)
Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.”
But he did not answer her at all. (22-23)

2)สาวกทั้งหลายของพระองค์มาทูลพระองค์ว่า “ไล่นางไปเสียเถิด เพราะนางร้องตามเรามา” (๒๓)
His disciples came saying, “Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us.” (23)

3)พระองค์ตรัสตอบว่า “เราไม่ได้รับใช้มาหาใคร เว้นแต่แกะหลงของวงศ์วานอิสราเอล” หญิงนั้น
ก็มากราบและทูลพระองค์ว่า “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอโปรดช่วยข้าพระองค์เถิด” (๒๔-๒๕)
He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But she came
and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” (24-25)

4) พระองค์จึงตรัสตอบว่า “การเอาอาหารของลูกโยนให้กับสุนัขก็ไม่สมควร” ผู้หญิงนั้น
ทูลว่า “จริงเจ้าข้า แต่สุนัขนั้นย่อมกินเศษที่ตกจากโต๊ะนายของมัน”(๒๖-๒๗)
He answered, “It is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” She said,
“Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” (26-27)

5) พระเยซูตรัสตอบนางว่า “หญิงเอ๋ย ความเชื่อของท่านก็มาก ให้เป็นไปตามความ
ต้องการของท่านเถิด” แล้วลูกสาวของนางก็หายเป็นปกติตั้งแต่เวลานั้น (28)
Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.”
And her daughter was healed instantly. (๒๘)
