Paul showed his love to Timothy in 5 ways:

1)ท่านอธิษฐานเผื่อทิโมธีตลอดเวลา (๓)
When I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. (3)

2)ท่านปรารถนาจะได้พบทิโมธีทั้งวันทั้งคืน (๔)
Recalling your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy. (4)

3)ท่านชมเชยความเชื่อและความจริงใจของทิโมธี (๕)
I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you. (5)

4)ท่านหนุนใจทิโมธีให้ใช้ของประทานจากพระเจ้าในตัว (๖)
For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands. (6)

5ท่านชมเชยจิตใจของทิโมธีที่เต็มไปด้วยความรัก และการบังคับตน (๗)
For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. (7)
