โครงเรื่อง: ความแตกต่าง ๕ ประการของชืวิตเก่าและชีวิตใหม่
The new life differs from the old life in 5 ways:

1)มีเวลารื่นเริง และเวลาไว้ทุกข์ (๑๕)
There is time for joy and time for mourning. (15)

2)มีเวลากินเลี้ยงและเวลาอดอาหาร (๑๕)
There is time for feasting and time for fasting. (15)

3)ไม่มีใครเอาท่อนผ้าใหม่ไปปะเสื้อเก่า (๑๖)
No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. (16)

4)ไม่มีใครเอาน้ำองุ่นใหม่ใส่ในถุงหนังเก่า (๑๗)
Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. (17)

5)ชีวิตใหม่จะไม่ร่วมกับชีวิตเก่า (๑๔-๑๗)
New life will never mix with old life. (14-17)
