The 4 teachings concerning becoming righteous by faith:

1) อับรามฮามไม่ได้เป็นคนชอบธรรมเพราะความประพฤติของท่านเอง (๒)
For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. (2)

2) อับราฮามเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า พระองค์จึงถือว่าท่านเป็นคนชอบธรรม (๓)
Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.”(3)

3) บุคคลที่พระเจ้าไม่ได้ทรงถือโทษก็เป็นสุข (๗-๘)
Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;
blessed is the one against whom the Lord will not reckon sin.” (7-8)

4) อับราฮามได้เข้าสุหนัตเพื่อเป็นเครื่องหมายของความชอบธรรม และการเชื่อฟัง (๑๑)
He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. (11)
