Daniel did these 6 things when he prayed:

1)ท่านเป็นทุกข์ตลอดเวลาที่อธิษฐาน(๓สัปดาห์) (๒)
Daniel was mourning for three weeks. (2)

2)ท่านงดรับประทานอาหารอร่อย (๓)
Daniel ate no delicacies. (3)

3)ท่านงดการรับประทานเนื้อและหล้าองุ่น (๓)
Daniel did not eat meat or wine. (3)

4)ท่านไม่ได้ชโลมน้ำมันตัวเลย(๓)
Daniel did not anoint himself at all. (3)

5)ท่านรอคอยจนถึงเวลาของพระเจ้า (๔-๘)
Daniel kept waiting for God. (4-8)

6)ท่านชบหน้าลงสงบอยู่และฟุบกับพื้นดิน (๙)
Daniel fell on his face to the ground. (9)
